Usage suggestion:
Boil 8 lbs. of pork or chicken in 2.5 gallons of water. Add 8 bay leaves and 1.5 oz. of salt (1 and a half tablespoons). Once the meat is boiled, reserve the water in which it was cooked. Shred and chop the meat. Cook it in a pot with 3 oz. of pork fat if the stew is pork, or 3 oz. of oil if it is chicken. Cook over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes. Add 16 oz. of ‘Farmful Adobo for Red Tamales’ and mix evenly. If desired, you can add part of the previously reserved broth until the desired consistency is achieved. Cook until it starts to boil. Turn off the heat and let it cool before placing it in the tamale dough.
