Usage suggestion:
Place 5 lbs. of beef shank in a large pot with 5 gallons of boiling water. Add 3.5 oz. of salt (6 tablespoons), 8 bay leaves, and 1 large onion (cut in half) to the water. Cover the pot with a lid and cook the meat over medium heat for 1.5 hours. After that time, add 20 lbs. of raw menudo, preferably honeycomb, to the pot and continue cooking for another 1.5 hours. Ensure the water level remains consistent throughout the cooking process. Once the 1.5 hours have elapsed, check the tenderness of the menudo. If it has reached your desired tenderness, add 16 oz. of ‘Farmful Menudo paste.’ The paste contains everything the menudo requires. Stir for 3 minutes until the paste is completely dissolved, and your menudo will be ready to serve.
